چکیده
Biodiesel production has been studied using non-edible seed oil from Thevetia peruviana. The peruviana could be used as a feedstock for biodiesel manufacturing. In this paper, the of utilizing Seed Oil (TPSO) investigated. ripe seeds were gathered China and Pakistan, after drying, its was extracted Soxhlet procedure. seeds' highest content discovered to between 48-62%. Investigations done into TPSO's physicochemical characteristics. Transesterification make biodiesel. methanol molar ratio, duration, temperature, rate stirring, amount catalyst loaded all in order optimize synthesis process get yield. Under ideal conditions, which included methanol-to-oil ratio 6:1, loading 0.42 weight percent, temperature 70°C, stirring 700 rpm, an 80-minute reaction period, yield 98.4%. Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis identify fatty acid configuration oil. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR, 1H NMR 13C NMR) Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) characterize product. ASTM & EN test technique determine biodiesel's fuel is that satisfies requirements D6751 standards. As result, possible

Optimization of Lipase-Catalyzed Transesterification of Cotton Seed Oil for Biodiesel Production Using Response Surface Methodology
The aim of this work was to study the biodiesel production from cotton seed oil by lipase produced by Pichia guilliermondii lipase, which was immobilized onto hydrophobic magnetic particles (HMPs). The optimum reaction conditions were determined for lipase dosage, methanol-to-oil molar ratio, temperature and water content. Using response surface methodology, a quadratic polynomial equation was ...
متن کاملBiodiesel Production by Enzymatic Transesterification of Papaya Seed Oil and Rambutan Seed Oil
Biodiesel production from vegetable oil has gained attention as an alternative fuel to minimize the usage of fossil fuels and reduce greenhouse gases pollution. In Malaysia, oils from local fruit seeds of papaya and rambutan are potential feedstock for biodiesel production due to their high lipid contents and easily available. In the present study, papaya and rambutan seed oils were extracted v...
متن کاملEnzymatic transesterification for biodiesel production.
Biodiesel consists monoalkyl esters of long chain fatty acids. It is produced from vegetable oils or fats either by chemical transesterification or by lipase-catalyzed transesterification with methanol or ethanol. Biodiesel is a green fuel and can be used as a blend with diesel or alone. Either way, it does not require any modification in engine design or storage facilities. The enzymatic proce...
متن کاملEfficacy of Catalysts in the Batch Esterification of the Fatty Acids of Thevetia Peruviana Seed Oil
The methyl, ethyl, propyl and butyl esters of the fatty acids of Thevetia peruviana seed oil were successfully prepared by the batch-esterification procedures. Various acid catalyst and various molar ratios of fatty acid to alcohol were investigated. H3PO4 was found to be ineffective to catalyze the esterification of the free fatty acid. HCl gas and conc. H2SO4 both proved very effective in cat...
